You have agreed a date and chosen your venue. The hard part is almost over. But before you get down to the nitty gritty of invites and table decorations, you need to book your wedding photographer…
That’s where we come in.
We are Gareth and Laura – professional wedding photographers based in Devon. We specialise in elegant, original and fun photos that tell the full story of your big day.
While it’s handy to have a photography list, the most memorable shots are often the ones that weren’t planned. The look of excited anticipation between bride and groom. The tear in a father’s eye. A small child playing peekaboo. These unexpected, unique shots may turn out to be the ones you cherish the most. Because at Pro-Story we don’t just capture images – we capture emotions.
When you look through your wedding photos, we want you to relive all the joy, excitement, and laughter of your big day. And we want to reveal some of the moments you might have missed.
But this isn’t about what we want, it’s about what you want. This is your day – your photographs. That’s why all of our packages include a pre-wedding meeting. We will go through your photography list together, discuss styles and make sure we know exactly who and what you want us to capture. You can let us know which group shots you want us to take and any location shots you’d like. We will also go through our paperwork together and answer all of your questions. (Of course, if you prefer, we can go through all of this by email instead.)
It's all in the planning…
Once we’ve found out more about you and what you’re looking for, you’ll receive a personalised Pro-Story booking contract to sign. You will also have the opportunity to review and add to our shooting list. This list will be used on the day, but as mentioned we will also be capturing plenty of fun, documentary style shots throughout your wedding as well.
We believe in being prepared. So, if we haven’t photographed an event at your Devon or Cornwall venue before, we will plan a visit before your big day. This gives us the chance to meet with your wedding co-ordinators and hunt for the perfect backdrops for your bride and groom shots.
Your wedding day…
On the big day itself, our aim is to blend into the background. Think of Pro-Story as your photographer secret agents (only a bit more down to earth and a lot less scary)! We want you and your guests to feel comfortable and happy. When we do set up group shots, we will keep the atmosphere relaxed and let everyone get back to the celebrations as quickly as possible.
Telling your story
Your wedding is about so much more than just one day. As the big date approaches, the excitement builds. We’d love to capture some of that fun, so we want to offer you a complimentary extra photo shoot. You could use this session to create a lasting record of your bridal shower. Or perhaps you want an elegant couple’s shoot to mark your engagement?
This extra shoot is absolutely free of charge when you book one of our wedding packages. And we will send you a selection of free digital images from the day. We can also arrange extra photography sessions for a small additional fee.
As with your wedding photography, all of your images will be edited and provided in four different styles – original, cool contemporary, nostalgic and black & white. So you can create the perfect wedding album, whatever style you’re looking for.

We used Pro-Story for our wedding day! We were so pleased with our wedding photos - they turned out beautiful and were edited in lots of ways so you could decide which you preferred (so lots of choice!)
