Choosing your perfect Wedding venue in Plymouth

There are so many great venues in Plymouth you can book for your wedding. Here are some you may consider:

● Duke of Cornwall Hotel

The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is a few minutes walk from the town centre and is located opposite Plymouth Pavilions. The Barbican is also just around the corner, which makes a perfect trip on your wedding day if you love the sea! You can have amazing photos taken both in and outside the Duke of Cornwall. The Hotel is stunning and has a smart, warm colour theme.

Crowne Plaza

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is just a few minutes away from Plymouth Hoe. You have a magnificent view from the hotel where you can see right over the Hoe and out to sea. With just a few minutes walk, you have the opportunity of having amazing photos taken on the Hoe and by the sea with a breath-taking view, creating lots of happy memories.

● Copthorne Hotel

Copthorne Hotel is located at the top of the town centre and is 5 minutes walk from the railway station. This is a perfect location if your guests are travelling by train. The hotel has elegant and modern styled rooms with a warm colour theme. There is also a range of menu options and you can see right over the city centre.

● Elfordleigh Hotel

Elfordleigh Hotel sits just outside of Dartmoor and is the perfect venue for your country style wedding. With 120 acres of woodland, there is so much astounding scenery and local parks to walk around and explore. There are also great views from the golf course with tall trees and a pond where we captured a lovely moment of our bride and groom walking together, looking into each other’s eyes along this gorgeous countryside. The Hotel is modern but stylish with grey paint that makes any bridesmaid dress pop; this also keeps the history through its traditional design and soft colour theme.

● Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa

Boringdon Hall is a 16th century country manor with a spa which makes a perfect venue if you are looking at having a relaxing wedding. The interior of the hotel is stylish and would make a lovely background for your photos. The Hotel has many event spaces which you can book for your big day. Boringdon Hall also has two restaurants and stylish four-poster beds in their rooms. There is plenty of space outside for a marquee in their garden area which is also a perfect location for some special and beautiful photos and moments to share!

● Boringdon Park Golf Club

With a range of suites, restaurants and bars, Boringdon Park has a choice of modern and elegant function rooms you can book for your wedding day. Boringdon Park also has a stylish Bridal suite available, which is a great space to stay, relax and prepare for your special day. The venue sits in the centre of 400 acres of stunning grassland, with magnificent panoramic views over Plymouth and Dartmoor. You can also see out to sea from both in and outside the building. This parkland is a perfect location to capture wonderful photos and special moments on your perfect day. You can also have fantastic photos taken inside especially as the décor and colour theme will match with your outfit and style perfectly.

Saint Werburgh’s Church Wembury

St Werburgh’s Church overlooks the magnificent sea and Wembury Bay. On your wedding day, you can walk down to Wembury beach and take some fantastic photos along the shore, having fun along the sand with special moments shared between you and your newly married partner. We feel so delighted to have photographed a lovely couple’s wedding at this wonderful location. We took a lovely photo of the bride and groom standing outside the church with the ocean and Great MewStone island behind them.

● St Edward’s Church, Eggbuckland

St Edward’s Church has a lovely natural colour theme that will fit perfectly with your theme and is a great choice for your traditional wedding. As you walk down the path outside, the greenery is a fantastic place to have photos taken, capturing the special moments of you together with family on your way to the church. There is also a beautiful outside garden area where you can sit just after getting married. There is a lovely arch you can stand under at the entrance for a lovely photo of you with friends and family on your way to the church. We photographed a lovely couple’s wedding here, and the church looks amazing to have a group photo outside with all your guests as well as with the two of you just outside the main doors.
